Founded in 2010 by childhood friends Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty, Song for the Mute is all about choosing materials carefully. The duo meticulously develops, samples, and selects fabrics in collaboration with artisanal Italian and Japanese mills before patterning their intimate, story-driven collections as seen with the Daisy Pleated Mini Skirt.
